Full Job Description

Job Description:

Jambrina CPA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in our tax department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in tax preparation and planning.

Responsibilities:

Research, consult and proffer resolution to all IRS notices and other tax authorities.
Manage and execute complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries.
Provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
Train and mentor associates and interns on tax projects
Review tax returns prepared by staff and make recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities. ·
Review client’s current tax processes to identify inefficiencies and provide enhancements to improve the client experience and reduce tax exposure.
Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors through a commitment to outstanding client service.
Deliver a full range of State and Local Tax services including tax return preparation and review, tax research, preparation of technical memorandums, drafting client correspondence, and counseling client in defending against state audits.
Research all state & local tax issues and develop appropriate solutions that impact clients’ financial position.
Special projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualification/ Requirement:

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA license is required
Five years of experience in tax preparation (Form 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040, 1040nr, 8804, 5471/5472).
Strong knowledge of current tax laws and regulations. International taxation experience is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to positively interact with clients and grow the firm’s existing book of business.
