Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and energetic Office Manager with hands on optical lab experience to lead our private practice. In this key role, you will oversee daily patient operations, manage office workflow, and handle optical dispensing and lab work. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, excellent patient communication skills, and technical optical experience.

The hours are Mon, Tues, Thursday 9:45am - 4:00pm; and Wed, Fri are 9:45am - 3pm.

Key Responsibilites-

Office and Operations Management:
Oversee daily front-desk operations, patient scheduling, and patient flow.
Manage insurance verification, billing, and practice management software data entry.
Train and supervise office staff to ensure high standards of patient care and customer service.

Optical and Lab Duties-
Assist patients with frame selection, styling, fitting and measurements (PD, Segment height).
Perform basic lens edging, finishing, mounting, and frame repairs/adjustments in our on-site lab.
Manage optical frame inventory, order lenses and contact lenses, and inspect jobs from wholesale labs for quality accuracy.

We are looking for someone that has great customer service skills. Compensation depends on experience.
Qualifications:
2+ years of optometric/ ophthalmic office management experience.
2+ years of hands-on optical lab dispensing, edging, and frame adjustment experience.
Experience with EHR software.
Strong understanding of vision and medical insurance.
Excellent leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
