Full Job Description

Pharmacy Operations Manager (On the Floor) Houston, TX

Up to $110,000 + bonus Monday – Friday day shifts, on-site

Have you managed a compounding pharmacy floor and want to own one outright in a business that's scaling fast? You don't need to be a pharmacist, you need to know how a compounding operation really runs. Right now a small team of directors are holding together a team of over a hundred, now they're looking to add a new management layer. This is the single most important hire in the plan, and it's yours to make your own.

What you'll be doing

Owning daily floor operations across shipping, fulfilment, customer service and escalations, walking the floor and keeping every department moving.
Driving turnaround time while holding quality and accuracy standards as volume climbs.
Leading technicians and floor staff, clearing bottlenecks at the source, and killing off floor-level fires before they spread.
Setting and tracking KPIs, spotting the gaps, and making sure teams hit their targets every month.
Owning inventory performance alongside your Inventory Specialist.

The business

A 503A sterile compounding pharmacy in Houston that has grown fast, a team well into the hundreds and still scaling hard.

They've recently moved into a brand-new, purpose-built compounding facility with room to grow further, and they're licensed across more than twenty states and counting.

This is a business adding a whole management layer for the first time. Get it right and you shape how the floor runs for years.

What you'll need

A strong pharmacy operations or technician-leadership background, with experience managing a compounding or high-volume dispensing floor (503A preferred).
A proven track record of leading floor teams and improving turnaround time.
Strong working knowledge of pharmacy operations, quality, privacy and compliance requirements.
Comfort owning metrics, staffing and workflow accountability.
