Full Job Description

Chateau Nouvelle is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality driven Venue Concierge to join our dedicated team in providing an exceptional wedding experience for our couples. This full time position reports directly to the Venue Director and works collaboratively with the venue team to achieve venue booking goals while delivering outstanding service from the first inquiry through the wedding day.

The Venue Concierge is responsible for venue bookings, client relationship management, event planning, and day of venue coordination. The ideal candidate is passionate about weddings, excels in sales and customer service, is highly organized and detail oriented, and is committed to creating an unforgettable experience for every couple.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Conduct personalized venue tours for prospective clients, showcasing the property and guiding them through the booking process.
Prepare and present client proposals, contracts, and invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
Consistently achieve individual and team sales goals while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Build strong relationships with prospective clients and confidently present venue services to maximize sales opportunities.
Stay knowledgeable on venue offerings, policies, pricing, catering, and beverage services to confidently answer client questions and make recommendations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, providing exceptional customer service and timely communication.
Lead client planning meetings to gather event details and logistics, and proactively identify potential gaps or missing details by thoughtfully evaluating every aspect of the event to ensure a seamless and fully prepared experience.
Coordinate with in-house culinary and beverage teams to communicate event details, menu selections, beverage packages, timelines, and special requests.
Manage and coordinate the venue's in-house beverage service program, including educating clients on package options and recommending the best fit for their event.
Collaborate with vendors to obtain required certificates of insurance, signed vendor agreements, and any additional documentation required by venue policies.
Ensure all event documentation, contracts, vendor information, and client details are complete and organized before each event.
Coordinate with multiple internal departments to ensure all event logistics are communicated and executed seamlessly.
Proactively identify and resolve planning issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate client records and update CRM and event management systems throughout the planning process.
Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, text messages, and online inquiries while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Go above and beyond to create an exceptional planning experience by anticipating client needs, providing thoughtful solutions, and delivering service that exceeds expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A professional and friendly demeanor with a passion for weddings, events, and hospitality
Excellent customer service and public relations skills
Strong verbal, written, and listening skills
Sales experience and ability to connect with clients
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail, emphasis on thoroughness and follow-up
Ability to think outside the box
Must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience (or willing to learn) wedding booking software
Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace
Maintains composure in high-pressure situations and responds to challenging interactions with kindness and respect.
Builds strong, professional relationships through clear and effective communication with couples, wedding planners, vendors, and venue staff.
Ability to organize and coordinate day-of event schedule, from load-in to load-out, with a detailed timeline
Demonstrate reliability, dependability and flexibility in the workplace
Takes initiative and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure success for the team and our clients.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must comply with our company policy of background checks and screenings of the company

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 1 year of proven sales experience with a strong emphasis on client relationships is required.
Experience in the wedding or events industry is highly preferred, with additional value placed on backgrounds in hospitality or luxury sales

JOB TYPE:

Full-time (40-50 hours weekly depending on season)
Salary and Commission (Final range in $55k+)
