Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Notary Loan Signing Agent, where you will play a vital role in facilitating smooth and compliant loan closings. This paid position offers the opportunity to work independently while ensuring all loan documentation is accurately signed, notarized, and compliant with industry regulations. Your expertise will help clients navigate the final steps of their mortgage journey, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring adherence to federal and state lending standards. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about financial services, this role is perfect for you to make a meaningful impact in the mortgage industry.

Duties

Conduct loan signing appointments with clients at designated locations, ensuring all documents are signed correctly and completely.
Verify borrower identities and ensure compliance with TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) regulations during the signing process.
Notarize all required documents in accordance with state laws and industry standards, maintaining proper records of each transaction.
Review loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with FNMA (Fannie Mae), FHA (Federal Housing Administration), VA (Veterans Affairs), and conventional mortgage guidelines.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain signing procedures, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service throughout the process.
Collaborate with lenders, escrow officers, and title companies to ensure smooth transaction flow and adherence to loan origination protocols.
Maintain detailed records of each signing appointment, including notarization logs, client signatures, and document copies for compliance purposes.

Experience

Prior experience as a Loan Signing Agent or in loan origination within the financial services or mortgage industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of mortgage lending processes, including FNMA guidelines, loan documentation requirements, and compliance standards such as TILA and TRID.
Familiarity with mortgage servicing procedures, credit analysis basics, and federal housing regulations like FHA loans and VA loans.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for record keeping and communication purposes.
Understanding of banking regulatory compliance related to mortgage processing and loan documentation.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain complex documents and procedures to clients.
Basic math skills for verifying figures on loan documents accurately.
