Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Maintenance Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for staff and clients alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in facilities maintenance while contributing to a meaningful cause.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain daily interior and exterior janitorial cleanliness of various facilities.
2. Sweeping, mopping, vacuum floors
3. Dusting surfaces and furniture
4. Washing and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
5. Emptying trash cans and recycling bins.
6. Cleaning windows and mirrors and wiping down door handles.
7. Cleaning entrances of driveway / parking lot.
8. Light maintenance tasks (ex: changing lightbulbs, tightening doorknobs)
9. Inspect fire extinguishers
10. Reporting safety hazard to facilities manager
11. Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
12. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
13. Demonstrate the ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects
14. Must be self-motivated
15. Excellent communication, and customer service skills.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
