Job Title: A/RAccounting Clerk

Our wide array of products includes fundraising cookbooks, school planners, classroom books, self-publishing, comic books, children’s literature, and commercial print services, all crafted with unmatched quality by our talented team. We have grown into a national leader in the printing industry, serving diverse markets across the United States.

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:

· Process and record incoming payments daily, including opening and distributing mail for multiple divisions

· Settle Credit Card Payments daily for multiple divisions

· Generate invoices in accordance with company policies and submit them to customers in a timely manner.

· Maintain and update customer account records, including changes to contact information, mergers, and billing details.

· Assist in handling A/R calls and emails for customers including account balances and invoice copies

· Assist the Credit/Collections Manager in reconciling accounts receivable, researching discrepancies, and managing past-due accounts.

· Assist the Controller with various projects

· Copy, file, and retrieve documentation as needed.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including computers, 10-key calculators, copiers, and printers.

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

· Proactive in anticipating workload needs and interacting professionally with customers and colleagues.

· Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

· Demonstrated thoroughness and analytical abilities.

· Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

· Strong vendor relationship management skills.

· Accurate data entry skills.

· Solid general math skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

· Previous experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable preferred
