Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT MR certification required)
Proven experience operating MRI equipment and performing MRI scans
In-depth knowledge of safety protocols related to magnetic resonance imaging
Ability to position and communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate imaging and documentation
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Experience with PACS systems and electronic medical records preferred

Main Responsibilities:

Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and standard procedures
Prepare patients for scanning, explaining procedures and ensuring a safe, comfortable experience
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to all safety and quality standards
Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to provide timely, precise imaging results
Accurately document procedures, patient information, and findings into medical records systems
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with infection prevention protocols

$2,372 - $2,509/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
