Job Title: Janitorial Rover - Salem

Location: Salem, Oregon

Schedule: Hours will vary, depending on janitorial contract needs.

Pay: $21.75

Job Overview:
Join our team as a Janitorial Rover in Salem, where you play a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and organized environments. This position offers an opportunity to work independently, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety across multiple sites. Your dedication helps create a welcoming space for all, supporting our mission to provide meaningful employment opportunities.

Qualifications:

Must Drive
Ability to work independently and self-motivate to complete nightly service and contract specifications.
Knowledge of janitorial best practices and safe work procedures.
Capable of performing daily cleaning duties to high industry standards.
Familiarity with SDS books and proper chemical labeling.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members.
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and move equipment as needed.
Willingness to attend training and participate in team meetings.
Valid work authorization for the United States.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Complete assigned cleaning tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain and organize janitorial closets, ensuring chemicals and supplies are properly labeled and stored.
Follow and complete checklists for each contract to ensure quality standards are met.
Model safe work procedures and best janitorial practices.
Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues or problems that arise.
Perform daily spot inspections to ensure quality assurance.
Secure and lock doors, disarm and arm alarms without triggering false alarms.
Monitor supplies usage to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Support team members by filling in for other janitorial staff as needed.
Attend required training sessions and team meetings.
Support management in minimizing overtime and optimizing personnel utilization.
Assist with site security and address any issues related to safety or operations.
Train and coach new employees in proper cleaning techniques.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
