Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, maintaining consistency and quality.
Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to optimize flavor profiles and presentation.
Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed, adhering to health regulations at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils.
Support food service operations during busy periods, including plating, garnishing, and timely delivery of dishes.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high standards of culinary excellence.
Participate in catering events or special functions as needed, providing exceptional meal preparation and presentation.

Requirements

Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food industry setting.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques such as sautéing, grilling, roasting, and frying.
Experience with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices is essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Prior experience in fine dining or catering environments is highly desirable.
Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations enhances your candidacy.
