Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Senior Electrical Project Manager in Monroe, NC. The Senior Electrical Project Manager will lead the establishment and growth of a new branch office, overseeing large-scale commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical construction projects. This entrepreneurial leader is responsible for building high-performing teams, developing strategic client relationships, and implementing operational processes to drive long-term regional success.

Annual Salary: $140,000 to $160,000 Annually BOE
Licenses/Certifications Required:
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- NFPA 70E training
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PE (Professional Engineer)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the new branch office, establishing operational processes, project management standards, and best practices.
- Manage multiple electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring completion within budget and on schedule.
- Build and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, developers, and engineers to support business development efforts.
- Oversee all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and detailed project execution plans.
- Manage project financial health through budget forecasting, labor productivity monitoring, job cost reporting, and cash flow management.
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field leadership personnel.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive communication and strategic problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promote a rigorous safety culture by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and project-specific safety requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while implementing proactive solutions to maintain operational excellence.
- Support quality control initiatives to ensure all electrical work meets project specifications and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of project management experience specifically within the electrical construction industry.
- Proven track record managing large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, or data center projects.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously from inception to completion.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, construction means and methods, contracts, and cost control.
- Experience in a leadership role with a focus on mentoring construction professionals and building high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in construction technology platforms including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and drive the growth of a regional operation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills with a business-oriented mindset.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel to various project sites and navigate active construction environments.
- Ability to perform field inspections, which may include climbing ladders and working at heights.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for prolonged periods of time.
- Regularly required to use hands and fingers to operate computers, mobile devices, and project management tools.
- May be exposed to inclement weather, loud noises, and typical construction site hazards.
- Must be aware of and compliant with OSHA safety standards for construction sites.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
