Position Overview
Lincoln County School District #1 is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Middle School Volleyball Coach to support and strengthen our volleyball program. The ideal candidate is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the court while promoting academic success, sportsmanship, character development, and community pride.
Primary Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Coach in developing and implementing a comprehensive volleyball program.

Help plan and lead practices, conditioning sessions, games, and off-season development.

Teach fundamental volleyball skills, techniques, strategy, and teamwork while prioritizing student safety.

Support game preparation, film review, and practice organization.

Assist with equipment management, inventory, and court setup.

Foster positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, staff, and the community.

Uphold and enforce district, state, and athletic association policies and procedures.

Support academic success and monitor student-athlete eligibility.

Participate in team, community, and booster club events as requested.
Qualifications

Previous coaching experience preferred.

Valid Wyoming PTSB coach permit or ability to obtain within one year.

Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor to student-athletes.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Must pass a background check per district requirements.
