Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated and experienced
Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal
candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various accounting functions,
ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. This position is
perfect for individuals looking to grow their accounting skills in a
collaborative environment.

Duties

· Assist with the preparation and analysis of budgets, ensuring
alignment with organizational goals.

· Perform account analysis and reconciliations to maintain accurate
financial records.

· Support tax preparation processes by gathering necessary
documentation and data.

· Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with all
regulations.

· Record journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all
transactions.

· Engage in corporate accounting tasks, including financial statement
preparation and reporting.

· Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
efforts.

· Collaborate on technical accounting projects, providing insights and
support as needed.

· Assist in public accounting tasks, including audits and compliance
checks.

· Complete accounts payable cycles including entering and reviewing
vendor invoices, printing checks and scheduling ACH payments

Skills

· Proficiency in budgeting techniques and financial forecasting.

· Familiarity with accounting software, QBO is preferred.

· Strong analytical skills for effective account analysis and
reconciliation.

· Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing is advantageous.

· Experience with journal entries and corporate accounting practices.

· Understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.

· Technical accounting knowledge to support various financial functions.

· Previous experience (5+ years) in public accounting is a plus.
