About Us:
LWI Supply has been in business for 45 years and is a family-owned and operated building materials distributor. We specialize in premium product lines and pride ourselves on service, reliability, and long-term partnerships. As we continue to grow, we’re looking to add a driven, strategic, and people-focused Territory Manager to our team.

Position Overview:

The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for driving profitable sales growth through relationship building, territory planning, and execution. This role requires a self-starter who thrives on creating value for customers, working independently, and developing long-term partnerships.

The TM will manage sales performance against plan, adjust strategy to hit targets, and serve as a resource and advocate for their accounts. A successful candidate will be confident leading dealer, contractor, and field-facing initiatives to build brand loyalty and drive demand.

Key Responsibilities:

Territory Planning & Execution
Research and understand market dynamics: trends, competitors, opportunities.
Work directly with the demand creation specialist in your territory.
Set and execute clear sales goals aligned with company objectives.
Develop a comprehensive sales plan that includes account targeting, territory coverage, and call frequency.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
Serve as a reliable point of contact and trusted advisor to customers across the channel.
Training & Brand Building
Lead LWI Committed Dealer Trainings, LWI University sessions, and contractor product trainings.
Organize and conduct job site trainings to support product knowledge and proper installation.
Coordinate with vendor partners and marketing to ensure consistent messaging and engagement.
Sales Growth & Strategic Targeting
Identify and prioritize high-potential customers based on revenue potential and strategic fit.
Convert opportunities through joint sales calls, follow-up meetings, and technical support.
Always drive toward a defined “next step” in the sales or education process.
Team Collaboration & Support
Work closely with inside sales, product reps, and support teams to ensure customer success.
Working with the demand creation specialist is vital to the markets success.
Provide customer and market feedback to improve our value proposition and service delivery.
Stay involved in ongoing training and professional development.
Performance Monitoring
Track progress using CRM tools and other systems to manage opportunities and performance metrics.
Report on wins, challenges, pipeline activity, and new opportunities regularly.
Adjust strategies based on feedback, field data, and evolving market conditions.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in B2B sales; building materials experience preferred
Strong work ethic, communication skills, and sales discipline
Skilled in time management, call preparation, and presentation
Coachable, confident, and strategic with a problem-solving mindset
Empathetic, positive, and likeable — strong soft skills are a must
Comfortable leading group trainings, product demos, and field engagements
Able to travel regularly to meet with accounts and execute training initiatives

Preferred Experience:

Working knowledge of decking, siding, trim, fasteners, and related products
Experience with CRM systems and structured sales processes

Track record of developing new territories and growing underperforming accounts

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
