Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, paid on commission — there is no hourly wage or salary. Commission is based on the policy's monthly target premium, multiplied by a points factor, then paid out according to your contract level (ranging from 40%–80%, based on production and tenure).
Example: A policy with a $1,000 monthly target premium generates 10,000 target points if fully targeted. At a 40%–80% contract level, that translates to $4,000–$8,000 in commission on that single policy.
Because payout scales with both policy size and contract level, income is uncapped — the more you write and the higher you advance, the more you earn. Full commission schedule and contract level requirements are reviewed during the interview.
What You'll Do
- Meet virtually with prospective clients sourced from 4 different lead sources — you choose what fits your style; you are not captive to a single vendor or lead type
- Run needs-based consultations to understand each client's financial goals and budget
- Present life insurance and retirement protection solutions clearly and honestly
- Guide clients through applications and underwriting, start to finish
- Maintain organized, accurate client records
- Join weekly team trainings and mentorship calls to sharpen your skills
