Site Manager (Part-Time)

At Magnolia, we are committed to creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment where adults with developmental disabilities can thrive. We’re looking for dependable and organized part-time Site Managers to help oversee campus operations, support staff, and ensure the safety and well-being of our clients and facilities during assigned shifts.

About the Role

As a Site Manager, you will help coordinate daily operations across Magnolia’s campus and group homes. You’ll assist staff, monitor client activity and safety, support scheduling needs, and help maintain smooth operations across all programs. This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

Location: Main Campus and Group Homes
Reports To: Quality Assurance and Compliance Director
Status: Part-Time
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Rotating 8-hour shifts
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

Assist managers and staff during non-business hours
Help coordinate coverage for absent employees
Track staff absences and shift coverage
Adjust staff assignments based on operational needs
Monitor client locations and maintain sign-in/sign-out records
Assist staff with behavior support and client supervision
Help manage safe client drop-off and pick-up procedures
Monitor campus and group home security systems and cameras
Lock and unlock gates and manage facility access
Maintain visitor sign-in records and monitor campus activity
Contact emergency services and report maintenance emergencies when needed
Answer and direct phone calls appropriately
Complete Site Manager shift reports and communicate important updates
Support Magnolia’s mission, values, and person-centered philosophy
Assist during emergencies, evacuations, and disaster response efforts

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in management, staffing, customer service, or a related field
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
Good communication and organizational skills
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Ability to write reports and professional emails
Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Valid Louisiana driver’s license required
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record required
Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
Attendance at required trainings and in-services required

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to monitor surroundings and respond quickly during emergencies
