Duties

Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and telemarketing campaigns
Build strong customer relationships by understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
Conduct client consultations to explain various insurance products such as health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance policies
Negotiate policy terms and coverage options to meet client needs while adhering to insurance regulations and compliance standards
Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track leads, follow-ups, and policy details
Assist clients with benefits administration, claims processing, and policy renewals to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Stay informed on industry updates, insurance regulation changes, HIPAA requirements, and product knowledge to provide accurate information

Qualifications

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex insurance concepts in clear terms
Demonstrated customer service experience with a focus on client communication and relationship building
Basic analysis skills for assessing client needs and recommending appropriate coverage options
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems for sales tracking and documentation
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities
Knowledge of health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, commercial insurance, and benefits administration is preferred but not required—training will be provided
Ability to work independently in outside sales environments while maintaining a team-oriented mindset
Previous experience in retail sales, telemarketing, or sales administration is advantageous but not essential
