IBM WAS, Azure devops, Middleware(WebSphere Portal/WebSphere Liberty/WAS/MQ/IBM HTTP Server/Weblogic/JBoss/Tomcat) OS Platform (Linux/Unix/Windows)
- At least 5 years of experience in Websphere Application Server ND and IBM HTTP Server / Plugin Administration /Weblogic Application server/JBoss Enterprise Application server in Linux Environment.
- Installing WebSphere Application Server ND, IBM HTTP server and various other middleware technologies like Apache / Tomcat / JBoss / Weblogic.
- Working knowledge of cluster / non cluster environment with in WebSphere Application Server ND.
- Configure and administer WebSphere resources like JDBC providers, Data Sources, JNDI, J2C authentication alias and various other configurations including MQ queue/ qcf etc.
- Deploying J2EE applications like WAR / EAR files through admin console / jython scripts / Ansible scripts.
- SSL certificate renewal for IBM HTTP Server and working knowledge on the WAS key-store / trust-store.
- Enabling Global Security with LDAP for WebSphere Application Server.
- Knowledge of SSO / configuring Security Domains in WAS.
- Troubleshooting issues related to IHS / WAS / Plugin.
- Good hands on Linux commands.
- Installing fix packs on WAS / IBM HTTP Server / Plugin.
- Knowledge on heap dump / thread dump analysis using ISA Lite and experience with wily for monitoring the usage of various resources inside WAS.
- Understandable knowledge on scripts written in Python / Shell / Ansible.
- Working knowledge on WebSphere Liberty.
- Administrative Knowledge and hands-on experience on infrastructure product including Middleware(WebSphere Portal/WebSphere Liberty/WAS/MQ/IBM HTTP Server/Weblogic/JBoss/Tomcat) OS Platform (Linux/Unix/Windows)
- Solid and proficient skills in infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills, enterprise mind set with ability to describe complex technical scenarios in a concise manner, both verbally and written, and articulating the content depending on the audience.
- Ability to work within international environment, and across cultures, work under time and stress pressure.
- Ability to learn, explore and implement new and emerging technologies in short period of time to fulfil business need.
- Knowledge on tools and software including Splunk, AppDynamics, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet is highly preferred.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the external cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure is a plus
- Understanding of service management techniques, including change management, incident management is a plus.
- Track record in working on the delivery of complex deployment projects and under diversified or matrix structure.
- Strong business sense with understanding of the business requirement and environment.
- Strong analytic skills to understand and resolve complex problems.
- Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Able to work at flexible hour to work with colleagues in various time zones.
- Troubleshooting Level -2/3 issues in production / non production.
- Knowledge of ITIL procedures and working with change management tools like CA Service Desk / BMC R12.
