CBRC Health & Fitness
CBRC Health & Fitness is seeking dependable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Housekeeping Attendants to join our team.
If you take pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces and enjoy being part of a team that makes a difference every day, we would love to hear from you.
At CBRC, our core purpose is building a community and inspiring healthier lives. Our Housekeeping team plays an essential role in that purpose by helping ensure our members and guests enjoy a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment every time they visit.
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will help maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, appearance, and overall condition of CBRC’s facilities.
This is an active, hands-on position that requires attention to detail, dependability, good time management, and the ability to recognize what needs attention without always being asked.
Our Housekeeping Attendants work throughout the club and interact regularly with members and coworkers. We are looking for people who take ownership of their work, enjoy keeping spaces looking their best, and understand that a clean facility is an important part of exceptional member service.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned areas throughout the club.
- Help ensure locker rooms, restrooms, showers, common areas, fitness spaces, and other assigned areas remain clean and welcoming.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and other areas according to established procedures.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform other routine cleaning duties.
- Clean mirrors, windows, counters, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Restock paper products, soap, toiletries, and other member-use supplies.
- Monitor locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas throughout the shift and respond promptly when attention is needed.
- Assist with laundry, towels, and other housekeeping responsibilities as assigned.
- Properly use, store, and maintain cleaning products, supplies, and equipment.
- Follow established procedures for the safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
- Respond promptly and professionally to spills, messes, and other cleaning needs.
- Help maintain organized housekeeping closets, storage areas, and supply inventories.
- Follow CBRC safety, sanitation, and facility procedures.
- Interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other Housekeeping team members and departments throughout CBRC.
- Assist with additional facility cleaning and upkeep needs as assigned.
The ideal Housekeeping Attendant is someone who notices the details.
You understand that members may never see all of the work that goes into maintaining a clean club—but they immediately notice when that work isn’t done. You take pride in doing things thoroughly, keeping spaces organized, and leaving an area better than you found it.
Strong candidates will bring:
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Dependability, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- The ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities efficiently.
- The ability to recognize cleaning or facility needs and take appropriate action.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- A commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
- The ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
- A willingness to learn the proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
- The ability to work effectively and professionally as part of a team.
- A friendly and respectful approach when interacting with members and guests.
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, hospitality, or facility-cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Because Housekeeping is an active position, attendants must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods during a shift.
- Frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning movements.
- Lift and carry cleaning supplies, trash, laundry, and other materials as required.
- Push and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
- Safely operate housekeeping equipment after appropriate training.
- Work in a variety of club environments, including locker rooms, restrooms, fitness areas, pool-related areas, and other indoor or outdoor spaces as assigned.
- Perform the physical tasks necessary to maintain a clean and sanitary facility throughout the workday.
Housekeeping schedules may include early mornings, daytime and evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events based on the needs of the club.
Dependable attendance and arriving prepared and on time for scheduled shifts are essential to maintaining the standards our members expect.
Pay range: $17.13–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
A clean club makes a difference.
For our members, it means walking into a locker room that feels fresh, finding a clean space to exercise, and knowing the facility they use every day is being cared for by people who take pride in their work.
Our Housekeeping team is an important part of creating that experience. Their work touches nearly every area of CBRC and contributes directly to the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our members and guests.
We value team members who take ownership, notice the details, and understand that excellent work—even when it happens behind the scenes—is an important part of excellent service.
If you are dependable, hardworking, and take pride in creating clean and welcoming spaces, we’d love to have you on the CBRC team.
