Full Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a responsible, self-motivated individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple small rental properties. This is an on-site and part-time position ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in time management. The role will include property management and leasing responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on communication, as the main office is located in Vancouver, WA. The position will be based from a home office set up in one of the managed properties, with an additional credit provided toward utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate maintenance requests and repairs
Manage property turn work, including scheduling vendors and preparing units for new tenants
Show and lease available units to prospective tenants
Write and issue notices in compliance with ORS 90
Draft and manage lease agreements
Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with lease terms
Handle tenant inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, leasing activity, and occupancy
Communicate regularly with the main office regarding property updates and issues
Provide weekly reports
Ensure a positive experience for both current and prospective tenants

Qualifications:

Strong communication skills and responsiveness
Excellent time management and ability to work independently and with maintenance staff
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Familiarity with ORS 90, writing legal notices, and lease documentation
Experience showing and leasing residential units
Previous property management or leasing experience
Basic knowledge of maintenance coordination and vendor management

Compensation:

Compensation is a total value of $22.00-$25.00 an hour DOE, housing is part of the compensation package.
Rent credit applied toward one of the homes within the managed properties
Additional credit provided toward utilities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,750.00 per month

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
