Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN), where your expertise and compassion will make a meaningful difference in patient care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse clinical settings, including acute care, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, and community health programs. As an RN, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality nursing services, utilizing advanced skills in patient assessment, medical documentation, and care coordination. Duties

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine care needs.
Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques, ensuring patient safety at all times.
Manage complex medical procedures such as IV infusions, catheterizations, suturing, and ventilator management across various settings including ICU, emergency room, and outpatient clinics.
Document all patient interactions meticulously using EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner to ensure seamless medical records management.
Provide specialized care for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care patients, and those in hospice or palliative settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, trauma medicine protocols, and infection control strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
Support emergency response efforts through critical care procedures such as airway management, neonatal resuscitation procedures, trauma response, and acute pain management.

Requirements

Valid RN license with current state registration and compliance with licensing laws.
Proven experience in various clinical environments such as hospital medicine, ICU (Level I & II Trauma Center experience), emergency medicine, or post-acute care settings.
Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and laboratory experience.
Skilled in performing invasive procedures like phlebotomy, venipuncture, tube feeding management, sterile processing techniques, and specimen collection/processing.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease is highly desirable.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with expertise in critical care (emergency response procedures), trauma medicine (Level I & II Trauma Center experience), infectious disease care, and hospice & palliative medicine.
Excellent communication skills for patient education on health coaching topics like nutrition and medication administration while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality standards.
