What You'll Do

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing revenue and expanding customer relationships throughout your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop an assigned sales territory through regular customer visits and daily travel
Prospect, qualify and secure new business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers
Develop long-term partnerships with OEM and MRO accounts
Identify customer challenges and recommend effective product and service solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer support and responsiveness
Participate in comprehensive product training and mentorship programs
Develop strategic plans to grow market share and increase territory performance
Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and drive long-term business growth

Preferred Skills and Experience

Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven success in prospecting, lead generation and closing new business
Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
Previous outside sales experience preferred
Experience in industrial sales, power transmission, bearings or related industries is highly desirable
Mechanical aptitude or industrial distribution experience is a strong advantage
Experience with Prophet 21 (P21) ERP software is a plus
