Amici Italian Restaurant & Bar is a family-owned, high-energy restaurant and event space known for our made-from-scratch Italian dishes, signature pop-up bar experiences (like CarnEvil Bar), and community-focused atmosphere.

We take pride in combining quality, creativity, and a close-knit team culture. We’re looking for a dedicated Assistant Kitchen Manager who’s ready to step into a leadership role, help run our kitchen, and bring passion and professionalism to every plate.

Position Overview

As Assistant Kitchen Manager, you’ll work closely with ownership and the kitchen team to maintain consistency, lead day-to-day operations, and keep our food quality and presentation at the highest level. You’ll help manage prep, train staff, and occasionally assist with special event menus.

This is a hands-on leadership role — perfect for someone who’s ready to take the next step in their culinary career!

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations and service
Manage, train, and motivate kitchen staff
Maintain consistent food quality, flavor, and presentation
Ensure proper prep levels and daily readiness
Collaborate with ownership on specials and new menu ideas
Enforce food safety and sanitation standards
Maintain a clean, professional, and efficient work environment

3+ years of kitchen experience (Italian cuisine or high-volume preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Team-focused attitude and ability to work under pressure
