GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
Collision Center Estimators are to ensure that each vehicle in the collision center receives a thorough damage analysis with a primary goal of quality throughout the repair process. Collision Estimators are tasked with writing error free estimates, following manufacturer’s recommendations at all times, eliminating supplements and expediting the repair process. Responsible for all activities in the Collision Center that impact Collision Center customers, their impression of the dealership and the quality of repair. Ensure that every customer that has a vehicle repaired at this Toyota dealership leaves not only satisfied, but a strong dealership advocate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieving High Standards
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensures high quality repairs are provided to every customer; maintains a clean, professional environment.
· Providing complete, timely damage analysis with a goal of one parts order, eliminating supplements and expediting vehicle repair.
· Accountable for accurate and thorough repair orders and estimates, blueprinting every repair and providing a thorough explanation of work performed on all documentation.
· Maintains high ethical standards in daily activities.
· Following all dealership policies.
· Following all dealership standard operating procedures.
· Departs from traditional ways of doing things as appropriate to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· Abides by the processes and standards to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient and effective Collision Center operation.
· Monitors the flow of work in the Collision Center and intervenes as needed to ensure work is accomplished.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
· Works with all dealership personnel to ensure customer satisfaction; reviews work and charges to eliminate customer dissatisfaction.

· Helps build a winning team by training, coaching and motivating other Collision Center employees.
· Maintain customer confidentiality and privacy as a priority.
· Remains diligent when handling customer vehicles and information to ensure all repairs and requests have been thoroughly completed to the customer’s expectations.
· Maintains an open dialogue with all Collision Center customers providing timely updates regarding their vehicle repairs and clearly communicating any potential delivery delays.
· Maintaining a safe workplace free of conditions that might create discomfort for other associates.

· Builds productive working relationships both within and across departments through clear communications using different forms (e.g., written responsibilities, objectives, daily information exchange, white boards, quarterly functions, etc.).

· To treat those suppliers, vendors and insurance employees with respect while maintaining the policies and procedures of the dealership first. If approached to act outside the dealership policies or procedures, notify management immediately.

· Follow all processes and standards to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient and effective operations.
· Follow purchasing policies and practices that ensure competitive bids from vendors for all tools, equipment, supplies, etc., to become a low cost producer. (When applicable)
· Coordinates with Service Department, Sales Department, Collision Center, General Manager, Toyota Representatives, sublet vendors, insurance partners and others to ensure effectiveness of the collision repair process.
· Helping maintain profitability of Collision Center by controlling any expense items within control of the position.

· Works with management to develop dealership's goals and objectives.
· Analyzes problems and establishes procedures to solve them.
· Assist in marketing and merchandising plans and programs.
· Ensures pricing is consistent with competitive practices.
Applying the Basics
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Uses computers to monitor daily operations; maintains proficiency in use of in-house computer systems.
· Applies information found in manuals, publications, and other documents.
· Utilizes new systems or processes implemented by Toyota or the dealership.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintains an awareness of and makes certain Collision Center employees comply with safety regulations and hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, and right-to-know policies and procedures.
Responsible for other duties as assigned and/or required by business need.

· Utilizes written quality control procedures to monitor quality of work.
· Prepares and negotiates repair estimates.
· Implements new Toyota and/or dealership systems or processes.
· Access and provide to technicians, applicable Toyota Information System procedures for Toyota vehicles and appropriate manufacturer information for non-Toyota vehicles.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education, training and/or state/national certifications should clearly demonstrate the possession of the knowledge and skills stated above.
· Minimum of High School degree or equivalent
· 2 years of college with a strong emphasis on business skills preferred
· Driver’s license in good standing and with safe driving record
· ASE certification preferred
· Attain and then maintain Toyota Certification from year one of employment
EXPERIENCE
· 2 years in an automotive collision center environment required; 5 or more years preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
