Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA), where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients across diverse settings. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. As a CNA, you will assist with daily activities, monitor patient health, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all individuals under your care. Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using proper manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts.
Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, accurately documenting findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Support patient transfer methods ensuring safety protocols are followed to prevent injury during movement or repositioning.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.
Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support.
Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and basic life support (BLS) when required.
Maintain patient confidentiality while managing medical documentation and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards across medical-surgical, long-term care, hospice, ICU, emergency medicine, pediatrics, and behavioral health environments.
Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient service in inpatient, outpatient, home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings.

Skills

Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities, and those requiring specialized dementia or memory care.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices such as aseptic technique.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Point Click Care for accurate medical documentation and record management.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices; proficient in manual handling techniques.
Excellent caregiver communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds while maintaining patient service excellence.
Experience working in skilled nursing facility
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times; adept at using patient transfer methods safely.
