A regional Service Company is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of our HR function. This key leadership position will partner closely with executive and operational leaders to attract, develop, and retain a high-performing workforce while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

This is a fully on-site position.

As a growing services organization, we are looking for a hands-on HR leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational support across multiple departments and locations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute human resources strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead recruiting, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Handle Labor Relations on an operational and contract basis with labor unions.
Oversee compensation, benefits administration, employee recognition, and wellness programs.
Drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives throughout the organization.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Analyze workforce metrics and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
Support safety, training, and continuous improvement programs.
Manage HR systems, records, and reporting requirements.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, logistics, distribution, or service-based operations preferred.
Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, employee relations, and talent management.
Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
