About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will spearhead quality control initiatives to ensure our manufacturing outputs consistently exceed industry benchmarks. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence by implementing robust audit frameworks and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our production facilities.

Responsibilities

Design and execute comprehensive production audits and risk assessments to maintain high manufacturing standards.
Champion a Built-In-Quality philosophy by managing root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effective problem-solving workflows.
Analyze statistical data and product specifications to establish reliability benchmarks for finished assemblies.
Develop and implement rigorous inspection criteria, guiding teams to ensure strict adherence to quality protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional plant leadership to align quality objectives with production goals and cost-efficiency targets.
Manage vendor quality relationships to ensure all incoming components meet our stringent material requirements.
Oversee team performance, including training, scheduling, and professional development, to ensure consistent adherence to organizational policies.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
4-5 years of professional experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or engineering environments.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and data reporting tools.
Strong leadership capabilities with a commitment to accountability and decision-making.
Ability to travel as needed to support facility operations.

Preferred Skills

Advanced knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) methodologies.
Experience in developing and maintaining quality management systems (QMS).
Proven track record in resolving complex customer quality complaints and implementing preventative measures.
