WonderDads | Remote / Community-Based | Part-Time | $28.00/hour
About the Role
WonderDads is looking for a part-time Local Dad Leader Recruiter to help build the WonderDads movement in local communities. This role is about finding the dads who are already leaders in their companies, schools, sports teams, and communities, and giving them a meaningful way to bring more dads into WonderDads.
You will connect with schools, companies, PTAs, youth sports organizations, churches, chambers of commerce, and other community groups to introduce them to WonderDads, and recruit natural community leaders, coaches, teachers, and business owners to become WonderDads Local Dad Leaders.
What You'll Do
- Build your own network of dads who are executives, entrepreneurs, coaches, community leaders, teachers, nonprofit leaders, and well-connected professionals
- Identify companies and organizations with large groups of employees or members who are dads and introduce them to WonderDads
- Develop relationships with companies that can encourage their employees to become WonderDads members and participate in local WonderDads programs
- Recruit working dads to visit schools and kids' groups for “What Dads Do” classes, where dads talk with kids about their jobs, careers, skills, and what they do every day
- Work with schools to bring WonderDads programs, dad volunteers, career talks, activities, and events into their communities
- Build relationships with PTAs, youth organizations, nonprofits, churches, community groups, chambers of commerce, sports leagues, and other organizations that already have strong networks of dads
- Find dads who are already natural community leaders, including baseball coaches, soccer coaches, teachers, business owners, executives, and active school parents
- Recruit these dads to become WonderDads Local Dad Leaders who can bring other dads into the WonderDads movement
- Help Local Dad Leaders organize activities, recruit dads, build relationships with schools, and grow WonderDads membership in their communities
- Regularly ask dads, companies, schools, coaches, and community leaders for introductions to other dads and organizations that could help grow WonderDads
- Identify larger partnerships with companies, school districts, youth sports organizations, associations, and community organizations that could introduce WonderDads to hundreds or thousands of dads
- Create opportunities for dads to use their careers, skills, hobbies, and connections to help kids and other families in their communities
- Turn participating dads into ambassadors who invite their friends, coworkers, teammates, neighbors, and other dads to join WonderDads
- Test new communities, audiences, partnerships, events, and outreach messages to discover the best ways to acquire new WonderDads subscribers
- Track which companies, schools, organizations, Dad Leaders, programs, and partnerships generate the most new members and continually improve the WonderDads growth playbook
The Goal
Find the dads who are already leaders in their companies, schools, sports teams, and communities, give them a meaningful role in WonderDads, and empower them to bring more dads into the movement.
