Job Description

We are a growing staffing agency seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Office Assistant to support our recruiting, onboarding, and payroll operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring employee records are accurate, compliant, and up to date while providing excellent front-office support.

This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who is comfortable working with confidential employee information in a fast-paced staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and route incoming phone calls from applicants, employees, and clients
Assist with payroll review and verification for temporary and contract employees
Verify employment eligibility and compliance documentation (I-9s, IDs, W-4s, etc.)
Complete and process new hire onboarding paperwork
Maintain accurate employee files (physical and electronic)
Support recruiters and office staff with administrative and clerical tasks
Ensure compliance with staffing and employment documentation requirements

Qualifications & Skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Basic computer skills (data entry, email, document management systems)
Previous experience in a staffing agency, HR, payroll, or office administration is a plus

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

Familiarity with high-volume hiring or temporary staffing
Experience processing employee onboarding documents
Knowledge of payroll or timekeeping systems
