Clients travel from near and far to experience our expert services — and we’re looking for a Patternmaking Assistant to help continue that legacy.
- Work directly with the Head Patternmaker on custom designs and intricate tailoring
- Participate in garment fittings to ensure precision and client satisfaction
- Transfer client fittings to paper patterns and adjust based on draping and body movement
- Cut and prepare fabric for custom designs and lining replacements
- Maintain quality control for consistent, high-end results
- Prepare invoices/work orders to streamline production communication
- Act as a liaison between SewRob and clients — scheduling appointments and answering questions
- Occasionally travel between store locations (company vehicle may be provided)
- Strong knowledge of patternmaking and garment construction
- Solid sewing skills and an eye for precision
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- A creative problem-solver who grasps new concepts quickly
- Strong customer service skills — comfortable working directly with clients
- Ability to interpret both client requests and team directions accurately
- A self-motivated individual with a passion for continuous learning
- Full-Time Preferred: 35–40 hours/week
- Part-Time Considered: With the goal of transitioning to full-time
- Store Hours:
- Mon–Fri: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sat: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Some Saturdays may be required)
