SPECIALIZING IN UPSCALE AMERICAN CUISINE, the Loon Lodge Inn & Restaurant offers concurrent operations: Dining, Casual fare pub, Weddings and events. Located in Western Maine, the Loon Lodge is a meticulously maintained 110-year-old authentic log Inn on the Easterly shore of Rangeley Lake. Rangeley offers year-round activities – skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hiking, hunting, boating, swimming, biking, star-gazing and general relaxation in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Summary:

Loon Lodge Inn seeks a passionate, ambitious, and personable Line Cook, who strives for an unmatched, creative dining experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Requirements:

· Knowledge of Kitchen Sanitation

· Serv Safe preferred

· Generate creative, nightly seasonal specials

· Schedule – Afternoon/Evenings, Holidays & Weekends

· 5+ years working experience in casual or fine dining

Job Description:

· Work alongside Head Chef to Generate creative, seasonal menus

· Assist with control of food costs and maintenance of inventory requirements

· Assist with training kitchen staff

· Assist with creation of exciting weekly specials

· Responsible for prep work of the kitchen

· Responsible for cooking & plating orders

· Responsible for cleanliness of kitchen & storage areas

· Monitor inventory, rotate stock

· Clean & maintain all equipment – Spring & Fall full kitchen maintenance

· Seasonal restaurant shut-down during spring & fall shoulder periods, 3+/- weeks each
