As part of a modern, approximately 95-bed acute care hospital, the Director of Perioperative Services will guide an efficient service line that includes contemporary OR suites, a well-designed Pre-Op and PACU, and streamlined sterile processing workflows . The surgical platform supports a broad mix of specialties, including general, orthopedics, women’s health, urology, and cardiovascular procedures, with robust surgeon collaboration and anesthesia partnership. Safe throughput and on-time starts are enabled by real-time dashboards, block optimization, and predictive staffing tools. This environment is ideal for an OR Nursing Director passionate about quality, experience, and access.

Reporting to a supportive Chief Nursing Officer, the Perioperative Nursing Director will lead OR, Pre-Op, PACU, and Sterile Processing while partnering closely with anesthesia, surgeons, and perioperative business operations. Dedicated resources include educator support, informatics expertise, service-line coordinators, and engaged charge nurses who foster a friendly, team-first culture among an exceptionally diverse interprofessional group. Core responsibilities for the Nurse Director of Surgical Services span strategic planning, budget stewardship, staffing, surgeon relations, supply chain optimization, quality/safety metrics, and accreditation readiness.
