Pay: $21-25, plus commission

What You’ll Do:

As a Restoration Technician, you’ll work alongside an experienced team member to help restore homes and businesses affected by water, fire, and mold damage. Your daily tasks will include:

Assisting in setting up and monitoring drying equipment
Helping remove damaged materials like drywall and flooring
Cleaning and sanitizing affected areas
Conduct thorough inspections to determine the extent of damage
Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport, and keeping clients informed and reassured throughout the process. Confidently explain the steps of the mitigation process.
Utilize industry-leading techniques and equipment to mitigate loss.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed and communicate effectively with team members and clients.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years experience in restoration services is required. Construction knowledge is a plus.
Strong communication skills. Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism. Ability to make a personalized connection with clients.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and a team player. Ability to develop, learn, and properly apply operation and work procedures.
Work well with teammates and provide suggestions and always improve our project productivity and final results.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physical labor as required.

Duties:

Construction of containment systems and critical barriers
Monitoring of environmental controls and negative pressure
Operation of air scrubbers and negative air machines
Monitoring moisture and humidity
Precision demolition
Removal of contaminated building materials
Post-remediation detailed cleaning and fire odor restoration
Perform dry-checks
Water damage emergency response and monitoring
Mold remediation
Biohazard cleanup
Vapor barrier/encapsulation install
Set up and monitor drying equipment
Proper use of PPE equipment including respirator, gloves, and goggles.
Can work independently to complete jobs if needed
On-call rotation
Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Demands:

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent.
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Lift (constantly) 5-40 lbs., lift (frequently) 20-100 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects, and work with/around cleaning agents
Basic computer and technology skills.
