Staff/Senior Accountant to Join Our Growing Firm in assisting clients with their Monthly Books

We are seeking a positive and professional Staff/Senior Accountant to join our team within our Certified Public Accounting Firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and financial management. This position offers the opportunity to work with various industries and all levels of accountants within our firm. The Staff/Senior Accountant position will assist in a wide range of duties, including Various Clients accounting reconciliations and financial statement preparation, analyzing credit card information, researching discrepancies, period end close, Inventory and Payroll Reconciliations.

We are a locally owned and operated company, and working to continually focus on innovation, attention to detail, and quality in everything we do as we service clients within multiple industries every day.

Your responsibilities as the Staff/Senior Accountant will include:

Banking, Credit card matching, refunds, and reconciliations
Researching any discrepancies
Monthly Journal entries and financial statement preparation relating to balance sheet, cash flows and profit and losses
Financial Analysis and reporting
General administrative support as needed
Assists Accounts Payable with tasks related to month end
Other projects as assigned and budgets
Accounting and IT Support for various clients who may need assistance within their day to day bookkeeping questions and software’s

To thrive as our Staff/Senior Accountant, you must have:

Accounting or Finance degree
Proven experience working in accounting
Experience using Microsoft Office Platforms
Experience in Quickbooks
Positive and professional attitude
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Good written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Part-Time, Full-time or Per-Diem

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
