Family Law / Litigation
Lead Paralegal Manager

Role Description

Currently seeking an experienced family law / litigtion paralegal to become part of a rapidly expanding team. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone who is detail oriented and has the ability to organize and support the litigation and family law departments with enthusiasm, dedication, and drive to help our attorneys succeed.

Responsibilities

* Drafting legal documents, managing discovery and assisting with case preparation.

* Draft and review file pleadings, motions, subpoenas and other legal documents.

* Open new client matters, maintain case files and track deadlines.

* Manage attorney calendars to ensure timely attendance at all court appearances and compliance with deadlines.

* Maintain client relations while successfully communicating with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel.

Qualifications

Experience in running a department and ensuring attorneys are fully prepared, maintaining all court deadlines and appearances.
Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and successfully complete tasks in a timely manner.
Must be an enthusiastic team player, extremely diligent and organized with the ability to handle large caseloads and multiple attorneys.
Experience in eFiling documents.
Ability to use multiple software applications including excel, word and adobe.
