Full Job Description

Job Overview
Elna Magnetics is looking for a detail-oriented, dependable Receiving Clerk to support our Warehouse operations. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a collaborative team with an emphasis on efficiency and organization.

We provide standard magnetic cores and accessories as an authorized distributor of several product lines, and through our manufacturing services department, we machine custom products to meet customer specifications.

** Note: Candidates will be required to complete a simple math assessment skill test as part of the interview process. **

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for receiving product per established guidelines and procedures.

Job Duties:

Unload various carriers’ trucks and sign for deliveries.
Assist with cycle counts.
Maintain a neat, clean and safe work area.
Follow all safety and applicable quality and departmental procedures.
Recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned in order to meet organizational and customer objectives and business conditions.
Verify quantity of product received against packing slips.
Ensure a certificate of compliance is on file for each receipt of an inventory item.
Process receipts of inventory from suppliers into Elna's operating system.
Label material for identification on inventory shelves.
Store material on inventory shelves to protect it from loss or damage.
Help maintain Elna's bin locator system.

Qualifications:

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to control and organize inventory and inventory records.
Ability to operate a computer.
Moderate to heavy lifting is required from time to time.
Safe use of material handling equipment

Education & Experience:

A High school diploma or GED
Additional applicable experience may be substituted for education requirements
Knowledge of Receiving and Shipping documents and procedures
General understanding of Warehouse operation

Full-time
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm with rotating, shortened Fridays.
Overtime available, as needed
