Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of modern web applications. This role will be responsible for leading full-stack development efforts, establishing technical standards, reviewing code, supporting development teams, and ensuring that software delivered meets high standards for quality, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with strong experience in React, Vite, ASP.NET, C#, and Golang, along with practical experience working with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. The Technical Lead will work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead and provide technical direction to full-stack development teams.
- Establish and enforce software development standards, architectural patterns, and best practices.
- Participate in system architecture and technical design decisions.
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor developers and provide guidance on complex technical problems.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Promote clean, maintainable, secure, and reusable code across projects.
Full Stack Development
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications across both frontend and backend technologies.
- Develop responsive and scalable frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Vite.
- Develop robust backend services and APIs using ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Design and develop services, APIs, and supporting applications using Golang where appropriate.
- Work with relational databases and develop efficient data access strategies.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, performance, and integration issues.
- Ensure applications are designed with scalability, reliability, and security in mind.
Code Review & Quality Control
- Conduct thorough Pull Request (PR) reviews for development work.
- Ensure code complies with established architecture, coding standards, and development practices.
- Identify bugs, security vulnerabilities, performance concerns, and maintainability issues during reviews.
- Provide constructive feedback to developers and ensure identified issues are resolved before approval.
- Establish quality gates and technical standards for production-ready code.
- Review completed development work to ensure requirements have been properly implemented.
- Work closely with QA to identify recurring defects and improve overall software quality.
- Promote automated testing, code coverage, static analysis, and other quality-control practices.
Azure & Deployment
- Work extensively with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
- Assist development teams with Azure DevOps pipeline configuration and deployments.
- Troubleshoot failed CI/CD pipeline builds and deployments.
- Assist with deployment configuration across Development, Test/UAT, Staging, and Production environments.
- Review and improve CI/CD processes to increase deployment reliability and efficiency.
- Support environment configuration, application settings, secrets, and deployment variables.
- Assist with Azure-based application troubleshooting and production support.
- Promote Infrastructure-as-Code and automated deployment practices where appropriate.
DevOps & CI/CD
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines.
- Support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Help establish deployment standards and release procedures.
- Monitor deployment health and troubleshoot build or release failures.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive development and deployment processes.
- Ensure releases follow appropriate quality-control and approval procedures.
Architecture & Engineering Standards
- Participate in architectural planning and technical decision-making.
- Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, libraries, and development approaches.
- Ensure applications follow principles of scalability, modularity, security, and maintainability.
- Establish standards for API development, error handling, logging, authentication, and application security.
- Help identify and address technical debt.
- Ensure development practices align with organizational security and compliance requirements.

Leadership Expectations
The Full Stack Technical Lead is expected to be both a technical contributor and a technical leader. This position is not limited to assigning development tasks; the individual will actively participate in development, architecture, troubleshooting, code reviews, deployments, and quality assurance.
The Technical Lead should:

- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant full-stack development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership, senior engineering, or technical lead capacity.
- Strong professional experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong professional experience with ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Professional experience with Golang.
- Experience building frontend applications using Vite.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Git, branching strategies, and Pull Request workflows.
- Demonstrated experience conducting code reviews and maintaining software quality.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, security, and application performance.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Full Stack Technical Lead who can move comfortably between frontend development, backend architecture, cloud infrastructure, code reviews, and deployment troubleshooting. They should be capable of reviewing a React/TypeScript implementation, troubleshooting an ASP.NET/C# API, understanding a Go service, identifying issues in an Azure Pipeline, and providing developers with actionable feedback to improve the quality of the final product.
