Full Job Description

Kinston Smiles Family Dental is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. We are a busy private dental practice focused on providing an excellent patient experience while maintaining a positive, team-oriented work environment.

We are looking for someone who is personable, professional, comfortable multitasking, and enjoys helping patients from the moment they walk through the door.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner
Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Manage the dental schedule and help keep appointments productive and organized
Check patients in and out
Collect patient payments and discuss balances
Verify and update patient information
Communicate with patients regarding appointments, treatment, and follow-up needs
Assist with filling cancellations and open appointment times
Maintain accurate patient records
Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth patient experience
Complete general front office and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

Previous dental front office experience is preferred
Bilingual is helpful in this position
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfortable speaking with patients in person and over the phone
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable learning new systems and office processes
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
