General Manager – Holiday Inn Express & Suites

Location: Orlando, FL
Salary: Competitive Compensation – Based on Experience

Holiday Inn Express & Suites is seeking an experienced, results-driven, and guest-focused General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, maximizing guest satisfaction, developing high-performing teams, and maintaining brand standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, and Guest Services.
Ensure compliance with all IHG brand standards, policies, and operating procedures.
Drive revenue growth through effective sales, revenue management, and cost-control strategies.
Monitor and manage hotel budgets, forecasts, financial performance, and profitability.
Recruit, train, mentor, and develop department leaders and team members.
Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction scores and online reputation metrics.
Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
Build strong relationships with guests, vendors, ownership, and community partners.
Analyze operational and financial reports and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Lead by example and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3–5 years of General Manager or senior hotel leadership experience with IHG Hotels & Resorts.
Previous experience working with Marriott Hotels is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, and labor management.
Demonstrated success in improving guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and hotel profitability.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with hotel management systems, revenue management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience managing branded select-service or limited-service hotels.
Strong background in sales, revenue optimization, and operational excellence.
