Full Job Description

Blue Water Ear Nose & Throat/Dizziness & Fall Prevention by FYZICAL is a small independently owned medical office seeking a versatile, enthusiastic, friendly new staff member to work as an administrative assistant to the lead physician. We are looking for someone who can work as an integral part of our small team, who smiles on the phone, and who demonstrates compassion when interacting with our clients (patients and their family) . Starting position and salary will be commensurate with your experience. Medical office experience desired. High school diploma required, associate or higher degree welcomed. Be a part of a unique, innovative, caring approach to health care on the Outer Banks that highlights patient care and our community.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the complexities of a medical office including medical terminology, medical registration and scheduling, computer proficiency and electronic medical records, customer service, phone reception, and also have some business writing skills.

Our practice offers testing and treatment and some in-office surgery for patients with various ear nose and throat ailments. We specialize in managing patients who have dizziness, vertigo, balance issues and high fall risk. The team currently includes the ENT specialist and a hearing instrument specialist. We hope to bring a physical therapist back in the future. The rest of the team is composed of our office/billing manager and two full time staff members. We are looking to add the right person to help with the administrative needs of the owner, Dr. Lait.

Must pass background check.

Work Remotely

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
