Full Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide expert inpatient pharmacy services at a community hospital in Southern Oregon. This assignment involves a 13-week contract at a 100-bed facility located in Klamath Falls, OR, with a start date of October 10th. This role requires flexibility working variable days and afternoon shifts to support the hospital’s pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients according to hospital protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication management.
Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage prescriptions and inventory control.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Oregon pharmacist license.
Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience.
Availability to work full-time with a flexible schedule focusing on afternoons and variable shifts.
Skilled in using EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems.
