A warm, faith-centered family in Raleigh is seeking an experienced nanny/family assistant to become a trusted partner in their home. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with school-aged children and teens, naturally takes initiative, and finds fulfillment in creating calm, consistency, and structure for a busy family.
The family is looking for a mature, emotionally intelligent caregiver who is collaborative, dependable, and eager to become a long-term part of their lives. Mom works from home and values open communication and teamwork, creating an environment where responsibilities are shared, and everyone works together to support the children and household.
About the Children
The oldest child is a 15-year-old high schooler who enjoys horseback riding, cross country, and track. She is bright, thoughtful, and increasingly independent while continuing to develop executive functioning skills. She benefits from gentle accountability, organization, and encouragement as she manages school, extracurricular activities, and daily responsibilities. The ideal nanny will provide supportive mentorship while assisting with transportation until she earns her driver's license.
Her younger sibling is an outgoing, kind-hearted 8-year-old with a love for Pokémon, Star Wars, LEGO®, taekwondo, swimming, and outdoor play. He has ADHD and anxiety and thrives with caregivers who are calm, confident, patient, and emotionally grounded. He benefits from consistency, active engagement, homework support, and caregivers who are comfortable following therapist-recommended strategies to support emotional regulation and transitions.
