Fulton Bellows a manufacture of precision bellow and bellow assemblies. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician - III to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Quality Tech will serve as a trainer (process owner) on at least three job functions as stated above.

- Will serve as a representative for the Quality dept in meetings. The meetings may be internal with customers or suppliers.
- Will serve as a ISO internal auditor
- Will communicate with customer’s and supplier’s as needed
- Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings accurately to ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Perform quality audits and inspections throughout the production process to identify deviations from ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations.
- Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments and ensure all tools meet calibration standards for accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze measurement data, identify root causes of quality issues, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and audit findings in accordance with quality management systems.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) protocols within manufacturing operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Work with Operations personnel to evaluate and solve production problems.
2. Promote excellence and ownership within the team
3. Perform quality control and testing services, applying the basic and advanced technical knowledge necessary to meet current Engineering Standards or customer requirements.
4. Prepare lab test plans and test standards as required per customer, Engineering Specification, or Fulton Bellows Quality Management System.
5. Perform maintenance and calibration on lab instrumentation as per Fulton Bellows QMS.
6. Perform and maintain gage calibration, including masters, per Fulton Bellows QMS
7. Complete all required reports per customer, Engineering Specification, or Fulton Bellows QMS.
8. Complete receiving inspection per Fulton Bellows QMS.
9. Maintains charts to monitor daily quality performance. Evaluate chart to identify quality excursions.
Notify supervision, engineering, and operators as required
10. Reduce product defect by investigating and determining cause, implementing counter measure, and collecting data to determine effectiveness of change.
11. Audit QMS to ensure procedures or processes are being followed.
12. Conduct process audits on manufacturing cells or operations.
13. Conduct product audit per customer requirements or Fulton Bellows QMS
14. Validate test equipment used by manufacturing that may affect the customer.
15. Works with engineering, manufacturing, materials on process development and improvements.
16. Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
17. Understand and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations
18. Support to maintain the Quality Policy and Fulton Bellows QMS.
19. Participate in continuous improvement activities.
20. Complete bellows setup verification.
21. Successfully pass all required job specific training.
22. Housekeeping and other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Prefer at least 2 years post-secondary education as or (AS or BS degree in science a plus).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
- Blueprint reading including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Basic metrology and measurement system analysis.
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015, AS9100 and ISO17025.
- Prepare basic statistics.
- Organizational skills and 5s experience.
- Strong familiarity with PCs.
- Report writing.
- Making decisions and working unsupervised (safely and effectively).
PHYSICAL SKILL AND EFFORT
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on cement surface and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, squat, climb ladders and perform work in confined positions. Must be able to climb stairs and work in temperature ranges corresponding with the outside ambient temperatures or greater. Yeager eye exam required.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND HAZARDS
Will be exposed to noise, dust, dirt, acids, welding fumes and lubricants and/or oils. Must be able and willing to properly use all necessary and/or required personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protecting and protective clothing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality systems and standards including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA regulations.
- Associate degree in a related discipline preferred.
- Proficiency in using advanced measurement instruments such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM), height gauges, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring tools.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and manufacturing documentation accurately.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures, measurement instrument maintenance, and data collection techniques for quality analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data trends, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions for process improvements.
- Excellent understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards applicable to medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Ability to perform detailed quality inspections using vision systems and other precision measurement tools while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations and data interpretation; experience with Calypso or similar software is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with attention to detail ensures consistent adherence to quality standards in production processes.
