Lead the Weekend Shift—Make an Impact That Lasts

For over 30 years, we’ve been a trusted leader in custom fiberglass pultrusions right here in La Crosse, WI. What we produce shows up in everyday life—from power line crossarms to door frames—and it all starts with the people leading the work.

Shift That Works for You

4th Shift: Friday – Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Work 36 hours, get paid for 40.
Lead the weekend—and still keep your weekdays open.

TRAINING WILL START ON FIRST SHIFT FOR SEVERAL WEEKS

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate reliability, consistent attendance, and a strong history of sustained employment.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the driving force behind your team’s performance, culture, and results.

Direct daily operations by setting priorities, workflows, and schedules
Lead by example in attendance, attitude, safety, and productivity
Train and develop employees through hands-on guidance and clear communication
Foster a strong team environment within and across departments
Set department goals and manage budgets with a focus on efficiency and cost control
(manpower, overtime, scrap, and expendables)
Ensure quality standards are met and work areas are maintained
Stay visible—spend at least 75% of your time on the floor supporting your team
Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive continuous improvement
Maintain training, attendance, and performance records
Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain a respectful workplace
Administer corrective action when necessary
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standardsWhat You Bring
Prior supervisory or leadership experience (preferred, not required—strong leaders come from all backgrounds)
Strong communication skills—you can connect with operators, engineers, and leadership alike
Ability to organize, prioritize, and keep operations running smoothly
A hands-on leadership style—you’re not afraid to jump in when needed
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to maintain professionalism while handling employee concerns and performance issues
Willingness to work overtime as needed

Requirements

Prior Supervisory/management experience is preferred but not required.
Need good interpersonal skills as it relates to communication. You are expected to communicate with other supervisors, engineers, your co-workers, as well as maintain the flow of information between the shifts and shift supervisors.
You will assign duties and examine the work for quality (conformance to specification), neatness of the work area and enforce conformance to work policies and procedures.
You are expected to study and standardize procedures to improve department efficiency. To implement this, you should spend a minimum of 75% of your time out on the floor and be visible, assisting your subordinates in performing their duties on occasion.
Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances and complaints. Monitor for situations that could lead to charges of sexual harassment or hostile environment.
Responsible for keeping training records, attendance records and performance records for their employees so that comprehensive employee performance evaluations can be given.
Also responsible for Corrective Action when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
Comply with Company guidelines, rules, and procedures as contained in the Employee Handbook and miscellaneous memos.
Able to work overtime as needed.
