Job Title: Experienced Client Service Associate

Status: Full Time in North San Diego, CA; Non-Exempt

Pay Range: $65,000-$80,000 annual compensation, depending on experience

Relevant Work Experience: 2 years supporting a Financial Planner or Wealth Manager

About you –

You are an experienced client service associate who has several years of experience supporting a financial planner or wealth manager. You have a solid understanding of financial instruments including investment, retirement, and life insurance products. You are confident, professional and warm when helping clients and you enjoy developing rapport. These are the soft skills you possess:

You have outstanding oral and written communication skills, and enjoy speaking to clients
You are naturally very organized with very strong attention to detail
You are adept at project management and tracking progress with an eye on deadlines
You can handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
You value your work life, are a life-long learner, and have the aptitude to learn new things quickly
You like to work independently and often can figure things out on your own
You are self-motivated when it comes to your personal performance

The Job Responsibilities –

The Experienced Client Service Associate position is full time, 40 hours per week, 100% in office

Provide triage service to our practice’s clients, handling incoming client calls and emails for service requests; assigning them to team members and tracking progress/completion
Set client appointments and manage the advisor’s calendar and meeting logistics
Assist with preparations for meetings with clients by running reports and gathering needed materials
Assist with processing client application paperwork and tracking it through to completion
Assist with marketing projects to increase visibility through advisor’s website and other marketing avenues
Data input into Redtail CRM software
Crosstrain with other team members to provide back-up when needed

Key requirements –

A bachelor’s degree is required (finance or business programs are preferred).
2 years of prior experience in a support role for a financial planning or wealth management team is required
2 years of business processing and client service experience required
Experience directly supporting a wealth advisor/business owner is highly desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 365 – particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong computer aptitude: ability to learn new systems quickly
Experience with CRM/Database systems is required (we use Redtail)
Ability to pass a background check including criminal and credit history
