Full Job Description

Job Summary

We're seeking an organized, hands-on Sales Office Manager who can both run the office and close deals in the field. You'll oversee daily administrative functions, coordinate sales activity, and manage vendor relationships—and just as importantly, you'll attend the appointments our setters book, meet with merchants in person, and close them. The right person blends steady operational leadership with real closing instincts and the drive to turn booked appointments into signed accounts.

Duties

Attend the in-person appointments booked by our appointment setters, run the merchant meeting, and close the deal on-site.
Manage daily office operations, including front desk, multi-line phones, and calendar/scheduling.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service partners to keep operational support running smoothly.
Handle core HR functions: payroll processing, onboarding and training, and compliance with company policies.
Plan and run events that support team engagement, client relations, and marketing.
Maintain accurate bookkeeping and budgeting in QuickBooks (or similar), tracking expenses and financial performance.
Organize filing systems and handle clerical and administrative tasks that keep the sales team productive.
Supervise and develop office staff, providing training on procedures, phone etiquette, and organizational standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales management or assistant manager roles with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to engage customers and motivate staff
Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases effectively
Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, training & development, employee orientation, and team management
Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling procedures, and retail math
Ability to handle administrative responsibilities such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and stock control with precision
Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity for time management across multiple priorities
Experience in merchandising, marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and retail store operations
Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store experience is a plus but not mandatory
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire a team toward shared goals while maintaining high levels of customer service excellence
