Full Job Description

Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives by implementing evidence-based interventions, supporting skill development, and fostering positive behavior change. As an RBT, you will work closely with supervising behavior analysts, families, and caregivers to ensure personalized care plans are effectively executed in home-based and clinical settings. Your energetic approach and commitment to client well-being will help create a supportive environment that promotes growth, independence, and confidence.

Duties

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients’ developmental goals.
Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching functional language and social interaction techniques.
Maintain detailed medical documentation and update client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency across environments and reinforce positive behaviors.
Participate in ongoing training on behavior management strategies, ethical guidelines, and implementing ABA therapy protocols effectively.

Experience

Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Hands-on experience providing direct behavioral therapy in home-based or clinical settings.
Familiarity with special education environments or school experience supporting students with disabilities.
Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data systematically and utilize data to guide intervention strategies.
Experience working within ethical frameworks such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement.
