Full Job Description

The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in performing inspection of units, subassemblies and components to ensure proper operation of each finished product.

Are You Looking To:

· Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or basic electrical measurements.

· Familiarity with industry standards: J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620.

· Able to read and follow blueprints and parts lists.

· This position requires a close attention to detail, and the inspection of fine detailed work, therefore it’s necessary to have good or corrected vision

· Familiar with basic mechanical inspection hand tools.

· Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards.

· Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.

· Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.

· Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.

· Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.

· Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervisor.

· Participates in team meetings.

· Builds positive work relationships.

Are You Ready To:

· Attend technical training events to keep on top of new industry developments. Seek constant technical knowledge improvements.

· Establish and maintain a positive working relationship within assigned teams and with all applicable departments, customers, and vendors.

· Seek mutual agreement on problems involving coordination.

· Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.

· Assume all other project work and responsibilities as directed.

What You'll Need:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Must have good English written and verbal communication skills

· Good arithmetic skills are required

· Mechanical aptitude desired

· 2+ years Quality Control experience in Receiving Inspection is preferred

· Working knowledge of measurement instruments
