Full Job Description

SR1 Trailers is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Deal Clerk to join our accounting team. In this pivotal role, you will be the gatekeeper of our deal files, ensuring precision and compliance. This position is ideal for an individual who takes pride in accuracy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys a positive, collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Systematically process deal jackets in strict accordance with company policy & procedures.
Audit unit sale paperwork to ensure all documents are complete, signatures are valid, and sales/cost figures are accurate.
Utilize spreadsheets, AI, and modern office technology to streamline documentation and data entry.
Act as a key point of contact for the Sales Team and Finance Managers, promptly communicating and resolving any documentation discrepancies.

Requirements

Some college coursework, Associates Degree (preferred).
Demonstrated knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Demonstrated organizational skills with an ability to manage and prioritize high-volume paperwork.
Strong attention to detail with a sharp eye for accuracy to ensure documents are error-free.
Ability to handle sensitive financial and customer information with complete confidentiality.
Proficiency in general computer skills and data entry.
A positive, collaborative "team player" attitude and a strong personal work ethic.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Prior administrative or clerical experience is a plus; we are happy to train the right individual.

Schedule & Benefits

Schedule: Part-time, up to 30 hours per week (specific hours to be determined).
Insurance: This is a position and is not eligible for company insurance.
401(k): Part-time employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) once they have worked at least 500 hours in each of two consecutive years and have passed one of the enrollment dates (01/01 or 07/01)

Compensation

Starting pay is $20/hour, depending on experience.
