Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
Implement sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met and maintained
Dust surfaces, clean floors, carpets, and upholstery using specialized floor care and carpet cleaning techniques
Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
Maintain cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, bathroom fixtures, windows, and furniture to uphold health standards
Use manual handling skills to lift heavy items safely during cleaning tasks or when moving furniture and equipment
Communicate effectively with clients or guests to address their cleaning needs and ensure satisfaction
Follow safety protocols during work or when handling cleaning chemicals to prevent accidents or injuries

Skills

Proven experience in residential or commerical cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on sanitation and surface cleaning
Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, including the use of cleaning detergents and equipment for floor care and surface sanitation
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing work environments when necessary
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
Exceptional customer service skills with clear communication abilities for client interaction and feedback
Hands-on experience with carpet cleaning techniques and indoor cleaning tasks is a plus
Familiarity with manual handling practices to ensure safety during all physical tasks
